Funny as hell because Jammie and others think Busi plays because apparently, Xavi is in love with him, but they also say De Jong is a box to box not a DM, and so is Nico. So, Busi is in fact the only defensive midfielder we have.

De Jong is far better as a DM than Busi

Nah that is a lie.

Said FDJ best position is two DMs and freedom to go from there to take ball up the park.

Regardless you have argued in past for FDJ as a sole DM who drives up park...that is what I disagreed with... it being a realistic role.

Keep up with your own arguments.

This your latest argument wont apply to Xavi. A few months ago you were crying about Koeman playing Busquets and now trying to make out only option or no one can say Xavi rates him seemingly.

Can add that to your list of shite used to argue now change it as Xavi now in charge.

You tried desperately to make out Xavi was 'only saying right things' when comes to his praise of Busi before being told he would be central to his system.. and now trying some bizarre new argument as wrong as if Xavi only playing him as no other option.

Not long ago you wanted Busi out and Puig in the midfield as a starter. Thats a belter but only for Koeman that one...

Masch was like the coach on the pitch at time and would often see Pep/Lucho pull him across and discuss tactics during games.

Noticed that as well. It's interesting how a textbook DM became one of the best center backs for Barca in recent history. It's a testament to his dedication.

Crazy how criticised he was as well by some. Man was a warrior and as top a leader will ever get.

Went to Barca game with mate years ago who was more of an EPL fan and would slate the idea of Masch as a CB. By time game finished he was a convert.

Watching Masche live could see he was the general on the pitch and was constantly reading game to snuff out danger long before anyone else read situation.

Passing was fucking ridiculous as well.

Maybe partly as s he is/was under appreciated he is one of my favourite Barca players ever.

Absolute class act.

Mascherano was very humble and realized he couldn't compete with Busquets whom he was bought to replace or rotate with, and he realized he had to change his playing style as well as his position and did so very smoothly and impressively. He was a pretty perfect defender for Barcelona.
Maybe he was the last very good transfer in, most of the ones after him have failed to integrate into the style of "the amigos" you speak so much about here, instead playing their own game for better or worse, creating a team with no coherent style and thus no real consistency, and the possibility for games like the losses v. PSG, Roma, Liverpool, Bayern etc.
