The only way you hurt Bayern is by being quick/fast. Depay doesn't have the quickness/speed to hurt them. Their defense is too physical for him.

Again, same problem as Luuk, He needs to be in the box to be dangerous, but he won't have that chance vs Bayern who controls the game and press us to death.,

Vs Bayern, you want to start quick/fast striker and then wingers. Hurt them in counter. That's how you can beat them if you have a solid defense to go with those.

Luuk De fucking jong and Depay is probably the worst option.

Our team was utterly hopeless and we were pinned back in our own half for much of the game. There are very few players in history that can one man carry against a Bayern side like that. The team is a collective and other than transcendent talents like Ronaldo and Messi no one player can drag you up like that, especially with no service.


If he had chances to miss it would be different but we weren't working the ball up at all
