Saul Niguez

It?s perfectly normal for a player coming into the EPL to struggle for a while due to the frantic pace of our game - some only shine in their second season ( he is not 100% fit anyways)

Current Chelsea shouldn't be too far from Atletico since both emphasis massive teamwork, work rate, backtracking, and defensive mindsets. He'll end up fitting into his role soon.

Chelsea plan to send Saul back to Atletico in January (Marca)

As Proper once infamously said, “The mighty PL has already swallowed this guy up and shit him out, he needs flushing back to Spain where he belongs.”

Huge L for those here saying in the summer that swapping him and Griezzy would have been a good move for Barca,
and seeing him as the box to box (!) md we were lacking

Thankfully now we all know what his real place is

I honestly thought the swap was the only possible way to get rid of Griezmann. Who could have guessed that Alemany would manage to get 50ME for him  I still can't believe it.

Tuchel and Chelsea (European champion) want him so that makes him world class.

That's your logic :koeman:

The guy that according to many here in the summer would have been an improvement on our md
 LMAOL

And all of them hiding so far, instead of coming out and admitting they were wrong.
That's the problem in this forum

That would have been the case if Tuchel and Chelsea actually wanted him LOL
They never wanted him dude to be even close to starter. And that's what we have seen thus far: 5th or 6th choice midfielder.

Thank God we didn't do the swap.

Any idea what happened to him?! His career going down the toilet.

Probably just mentally and physically exhausted playing for Simeone all these years. Happened the same to Koke two years ago and he recovered and is playing on a good level again. Think Saul will also return soon. Don't write him off yet, he's still a very good player.
