He’s uniquely likeable is the point. Bale had multiple opportunities to get a farewell and chose to showcase how big a grudge he holds or just sulk and treat it like a job. Marcelo is a treasure as realised he’d not be able to do himself justice if he kept the place he used to have. Hope others follow suit.
