Real Madrid

The answer lies in the strength of the other teams during those years.

Compare the competition in Europe in 17-18 for instance to any of those 6 years for Barca.

Thats a good point but its still difficult to say Real would have won more CL's as they depended a lot on the heading abilities of Ronaldo and the runs in the box. Real would have won a lot more la liga's though.

hmmm, Barca was between 2008-2012 and in seasons 14/15 and 15/16 by far the best team in the world and still we won 'only' 3 out of 6 Cl's. That makes 50%. You said he would have won 7 out of 10 CL's with a much weaker Real, so 70%. How Messi could have won more with a weaker team?

Messi made the team so good in those years .

Messi at Real with that team + Perez and referees on his back would have been unstopable.

I can't see Mbappe & Haaland joining this aging Real Madrid team. They'll need a massive overhaul, something people don't talk enough.

- They're still heavily depends on Benzema, Modric & Ramos who are well into their 30.
- Kroos, Hazard, Marcelo, Nacho & Marcelo are already 30 years of age
- Casemiro, Lucas Vasquez, & Carvajal are 29 years of age
- Varane doesn't want to renew & probably be sold for a cheap price.

The core will need replacing in the next 2/3 years and Perez just don't have the money to do that. Especially if RM are dropping €100m+ on just 1 player. Not to mention insane salaries Mbappe/Haaland will demand, which is justified.

Same can be said about every team not named City, who has no need for spending big on CF (according to Pep, who is doing brilliant job without one)
Chelsea is still depending on Kante for example, they have young players but they are always volatile.
Same with Manu, who failed to have real success for 8 years.
Liverpool core is old, and they have less resources than RM.
RM has been consistent in building one team after another, it is much easier to build teams around a super star than the other way around.
It is also good to be a part of a new cycle
That said, RM aren't slam dunk for a new player, I give you that

Villarato!
Butthurt?

Mount was dumb and took what he said wrong way and is trying to make some statement as if Kroos underestimated Chelsea. He's young tho, allow him

Madrid is seriously bad and an average team at best and without the oldies Benzema, Ramos and Modric their players literally are nobody.. not that Barca is significantly better but it is honestly sad that as a Barca fan I do not even think of Madrid as a threat anymore for anything.. just like Arsenal, it will take strong teams to seriously screw up for Arsenal to win anything

Seeing Allegri is rumored to replace Zidane if he leaves.

No clue why his name isn’t brought up to be Barca coach. He is a proven winner.
