    Tottenham Hotspur

Seems like a recipe for disaster to me. He loves spending money but Spurs don't have any. He spent his whole time at Man United complaining about not having enough to spend so God knows how he's gonna cope at Spurs.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Strange decision. They've been playing poorly for most of 2019 but Poch deserved a bit more time to sort things out, and they'll find it very hard to get a manager who's better than him. If I were Spurs, I'd be straight on the phone to Rafa Benitez.

    Eden Hazard

You and I have very different ideas about football then. The whole game matters, from the World Cup right down to non-league and amateur football. I hate how snobby football is becoming where money and media has taken over and only the Champions League and top handful of teams matter. But that's...

    Eden Hazard

Are you serious? Coutinho maybe, but Hazard? He's won every major trophy possible in English football and pretty much dragged TWO Chelsea teams to the Premier League title. With all due respect, you have a pretty ignorant view of football if you don't think he's achieved anything.

    Eden Hazard

I never said he was world class.

    Eden Hazard

No, Liverpool are a much better side now because they have Van Dijk and Alisson instead of Klavan and Karius. Barcelona paying stupid money for an ill-fitting player isn't Coutinho's fault and says nothing about his quality.

    Eden Hazard

Coutinho is still a very good player; his talent hasn't just disappeared. Barcelona bought him without knowing how to use him, thinking he was the next Iniesta which he isn't. He doesn't work in Valverde's defensive possession style, he needs quick runners making smart runs so he can find them...

    Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is an amazing player, he has been brilliant for years in mostly defensive teams, and he's so fun to watch. I'm very sad to see him leave England. :( Madrid use him properly and they've got a beast of a player on their hands.

    Champions League

Wasn't the most exciting match in the world, no, but finals rarely are. I still enjoyed Liverpool's performance (I support a Championship team so didn't care who won, was just happy two English teams have won both European competitions) as I love watching good defending. I'm a goalkeeper myself...

    Champions League

I agree, great goalkeeping and defending, our traditional strengths. :hooray:

So happy for Henderson, so sad for Kane. Better team won though, ruthlessly efficient from Liverpool.

Someone has to do it.... Copa final topic Valencia vs FC Barcelona 2-1

I just think, everyone can blame Valverde, but at some point, the players have to take their fair share of the blame too. They're the ones out on the pitch looking like they'd rather be on holiday. Any new coach is going to struggle with the stinking attitudes of some of these players.

Someone has to do it.... Copa final topic Valencia vs FC Barcelona 2-1

Watching this game makes me think the players are still thinking about Anfield and don't care about this cup, which is a disgraceful attitude to have. From the outside looking in, I have to say several big players need replacing as soon as possible.

    Harry Kane

He is "hopeful", in his own words. I hope if he plays that he's properly recovered and not just rushing himself back again. He was injured at the World Cup and hasn't looked fit all season. I reckon he'll at least be on the bench for the final and then he'll play in the Nations League a few...

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

Very harsh to blame Messi in any way for Anfield. He looked dangerous on the ball and created chances for himself and his team-mates, and would've scored at least one goal if it wasn't for a world-class goalkeeper. Suarez is a bigger problem. I was shocked to see how immobile he is. In England...

Champions League Semi Final: Liverpool - FC Barcelona 4-3 agg.

Yeah, I'm not saying you're entitled, just that we obviously live in completely different worlds when it comes to our football teams! I mean the best moment I've ever had as a supporter is when we got to the FA Cup semi-final in 2015 and lost in extra time to Arsenal. That's nothing to...

    Harry Kane

Completely agree with this, he needs a long break to fully recover. But no doubt he will rush himself back for the Champions League final too. Totally understand his desire to get back playing as quickly as possible but hopefully he won't play in the final unless he is genuinely 100% fit which...

Champions League Semi Final: Liverpool - FC Barcelona 4-3 agg.

I do have to say, as a supporter of a second-tier club (that almost became a third-tier club this year) in England that's never won a trophy in our history, it's really weird for me to see fans being upset because they'll "only" win the league and domestic cup and "only" got to the CL...

Champions League Semi Final: Liverpool - FC Barcelona 4-3 agg.

Yes, I think Barca need a manager with the authority to impose himself on that club and let the players know who the boss is, and get rid of any who don't comply. And that includes Messi if need be. Probably the only man on the planet who could do that at Barca is Pep Guardiola.
