He is concentrating his workrate more this season, which seems good. Beginning of last season guy was sprinting all over the pitch for 90 minutes. Looked seriously fatigued around march/april/may as a result. Need to learn from that.

Don't see how he would be a good CAM when he seems unable to move in spaces where there are more than one opponent. To me he is far from being good enough. He can do simple things. Take the ball, drive into space, pass it off, or shoot (decently). I see no creative talent whatsoever.

At times to his own detriment, which is my point. Whatever your football intelligence, you can never really predict the full scope of opportunity that will open up by breaking a simple line. If you take a leap of faith, chances will come.

I like that he's less fussy about forward passes than Pedri. Pedri a bit too considerate, too finicky tonight for me. If you can break a line, just do it and see what happens. Don't need to think it two steps ahead every time.

Overall more bad than good today. Can't be missing those chances.
