Ah i see. But that sort of "lost balls" seems too vague and it could be due to alot of players positions whether they play alot of crosses or passes. It's best we break them up into crosses, passes, dribbles, dispossession, and measure them using success rate. If u clump them all together... -

I'm not too sure what "lost balls" mean here, but if we are talking about dispossession alone, then Dembele is more or less the same as Messi at around 4 dispossessions per game because they tend to possess the ball more. In fact Messi was dispossessed 6 times against Valladolid. -

I wouldn't say it's his weak spot either but it's more of his physical limitations and decline that takes a toll on all that, which is not exactly a good thing either. On top of that, he havent effectively converted any of his shots.- henias

I thought Dembele was previously "analysed" for not making certain runs or make specific decisions? But I think what they meant is him positioning himself better in the box or more centrally since he is now an in-and-out central striker. He isnt a RF anymore.- henias

Hard to tell, EV messing up his tactics big time. Obviously we have players like Messi, who can potentially carry the team but if opponents can shut out this dysfunctional team, then it may become a problem. Atletico is a strong one this year. Too early to tell. -

Yea clearly these managers lack alot of coaching experience especially at big clubs. If anything, his style of play doesnt even fit that of Barca's. It boggles my mind to how he even got selected. They literally just see if they played for Barca in the past and just decide "he's the one"...
