    And yet, they still conceded a goal. Bad match, and got the luck they needed in penalties, not impressive at all. Could have gone to bed 40 mins earlier, if they did what they were supposed to, worst part of it.

    How many of their key players are german? Cause it seems that, for basically every german player, the dream is to play for the "flagship". There is only so much Alonso can do about that, and there will be offers from other clubs too, offers that Leverkusen can't match.

    Looking at fixture list, Liverpool might have the advantage, a few points above, and overall an easier schedule left due to no UCL, also no FA Cup, unlike City.
