We were lucky tonight. Thought Santos looked more hungry. We were laid back and it seemed like if out of the game till the end with the PK. Though Santos was awarded a lot of yellow cards it might come back to haunt them on Sunday. That Peralta goal was a beauty though.

    Copa Libertadores

Velez controled Santos pretty much all game. Santos felt like they were off. Kudos to Boca for a good game. Riquelme still amazes me. Next games are going to be interesting since they're in Brasil.

    Club América

    LMAO!!!!!
  4. Blue Demon

    Didier Drogba

Don't like his antics, but if that is true, lowering his salary by 50%, it might be something to really think about.
  5. Blue Demon

    Copa Libertadores

You're right. Libertad let down in the second half. I believe La U will pass through.
  6. Blue Demon

    Daniel Alves

Sad for Dani. He'll be back. I'll be happy when the year is finally over. Hopefully we'll have better luck next year.
  7. Blue Demon

    Club América

Gracias hermano! I would rather see Santos instead of Tigres. But it might be a complicated game for them tonight. America will be back. They have a good foundation and will use this as motivation for next year. :beer2:

    Copa Libertadores

Wow. Didn't get to see the games but was watching the twitter feed on La U/Quito score, each time I was shocked when I opened the feed. Boca/Flum is interesting. I'd like to see a Boca/La U semis though.

    Club América

Bad news for America. Hobbit Bermudez is out. But I don't think they'll need them. They should overturn that yellow on Aguilar since it didn't look like it was intentional diving. I thought the Rayados held back and played for the tie. That only makes me more nervous. We'll see on Saturday.
  10. Blue Demon

    Mexico

I always liked Vela. Jenks hit it on the spot. He's better in Spain. Besides, in Arsenal, he was always on the bench. Wenger never did play him. Same thing with Gio Dos Santos warming the bench in Tottenham. I think he's been playing his best at Real Sociedad. I hope he stays there or go some...

    Mexico

No Chicharito (Fergie said no) nor Carlos Vela (Vela laughed them and walked away) for Olympics. Are they for calling Nery Castillo next? :icon_neutral:
  12. Blue Demon

    Radamel Falcao

    He is a beast.
  13. Blue Demon

    Copa Libertadores

Nice vids. Today not good. Nacional fail. Cruz Azul fail. :(
  14. Blue Demon

    5 - Carles Puyol

Sad news. This worries me for next year though. I hope they have in mind someone to fill in Puyol's shoes, at least someone with experience to rotate throughout the year.
  15. Blue Demon

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

This is why I love this team.
  16. Blue Demon

    Club América

Didn't get to watch the games because of the fight but was keeping up on my cell. Monterrey passed with the skin of their teeth at the end. Saw the America highlights and saw Chucho missed a few. Both teams pass to the next round at least.
  17. Blue Demon

    Copa Libertadores

Whoah. Good job that Quito did even with a man down. Might be a hard time at home for La U.
  18. Blue Demon

    Daniel Alves

It's sounding now as he might stick around. Hopefully so. Yet it still early to truly say so.
  19. Blue Demon

    Which LB?

Bale I prefer. More than likely we'll land Alba. Which is still a good choice.
  20. Blue Demon

    Club América

Daaaannggg. America had a field day. Thought a goal for Pachuca was not given, still America controlled it; should still pass next time they meet in Azteca. Monterrey is up 2 for now.
