    Mats Hummels

Hummels is too slow, so is Verto....I think Hummels could do well in defense for us but not with Pique as our first choice pairing. I'd love to have someone that is a beast in the air like Hummels, he is so good at defending corners/freekicks. Hummels to replace Pique, yes. To partner? No. I got...

    Gareth Bale

The only thing I'd like about Bale on the RW is him being left footed. Left-footed right winger please. K thx.

    David Villa

He was never even given enough playing time after his injury to tell if he'd "be the same" or not. That makes less sense then respecting a player who played his heart out for us BEFORE he was injured. Instead we played a terrible form Pedro and Alexis over and over again, that also made less sense.

    Daniel Alves

Honestly, I love Dani, but I think this is the way to go. He hasn't been the same the last 1.5 seasons and Alba looks great on the attack and is a better defender than Alves. It's time to give Alba the freedom to attack and cement a defensive fullback on the right, like we used to do with Abidal...

    Neymar - v2

I agree, watching him play these beautiful passes and pick apart the opposing teams defense is dreadful- his teammates manage to mess them up almost every time. He really is a one man team, the video showed all of his talents, especially what I've pointed out before- he gets hit over and over...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

So if we get 20mil for Valdez, 15mil for Villa......spend 50mil (realistically we will...hopefully not more) on Neymar, 40mil on Thiago Silva.....then 15mil on a defensive LB...not sure who. Don't think Hummels is what we need, him and Pique would be terrible partners. Selling Pique and bringing...

    Alexandre Pato

    Umm...no.

    Neymar - v2

That'll only work if we start playing Messi on the RW; which most fans, especially here, are against. I've honestly always thought Cavani was over-rated, I see nothing special about him. He scores goals, but even then I'm not impressed. I think Lewandowski is great but perhaps a bit slow (static...

    Neymar - v2

Not sure why, but for some reason today my mind finally made itself up without me even knowing. I'm suddenly crazy excited to bring in Neymar. I was never excited about Sanchez, Ibra or even David Villa to an extent. I mean I loved David Villa, but I knew Villa was not a winger, was aging and...

    Neymar - v2

There will never be a transfer worse than the Ibra/Eto'o deal. And I mean NEVER.

    Thiago Silva

It's very unlikely, I agree. I'm just sayin', dreaming really. We should of pushed harder for him last summer, throw the 18mil (or so I believe) we spent on Song in there too.

    Thiago Silva

If we can get Thiago Silva for 35mil I'd be more than happy. We're buying not only probably the best CB in the world but a guy that truly fits our defensive needs PERFECTLY. A total beast of a player, like Puyol, and he's one the fastest CBs to ever play the game. At 29 he could still give us at...

    Alexis Sanchez

The last couple of posts were interesting conversation. I agree, if Neymar comes...one of them will go, especially with the club being pressured to include Deulofeu into the first team. When Pedro was first included in the team by Pep, I couldn't stand him. However Pedro won me over slowly...

What position are you under the impression Reus plays...?

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Villa has been disrespected by Tito and the coaching staff all season long, I wouldn't be surprised if he put in a transfer request and demanded to leave- I know I would. Tello has been far better and more useful than Pedro and Sanchez all season long, and he did it with a fraction of the...

    Neymar - v2

I'm sick of all this "he lacks European experience" bullshit. It all looks good on paper but I don't buy it for one second. So many players come from "lesser" leagues and do great in Europe. Look at Alexis, look at Ibra, hell even look at Henry (one of the best players ever) 2 out of the 3...

    Neymar - v2

Sanchez had his own unique style at Udinese, it was fun to watch. However he was never a prolific goal-scorer, hell not even a semi-impressive one. He also played on a team that played easy on the eye counter-attacking football. He was a doomed buy from the beginning. As far as Fabregas goes...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

The sad part is that Eto'o, despite turning 29 that year, was only getting better. Even with his injuries, his best year was the year we sold him...go figure. Pep obviously knew what he was doing, but I'm not sure forcing Eto'o out was necessary....they must have really not got along.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Exactly this. But he's too big to press like Eto'o did, he'd run out of gas by the second half. There are only two players I can think of that could replicate the greatness of Eto'o and that is Ronaldo and Falcao....and I'm not sure either of them have the heart that Eto'o gave each and every game.

    Radamel Falcao

To be honest, Messi would have a field day having someone like Ronaldo to feed the ball to.
