    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Physically he looked a bit awkward and sensitive in the way he moved in his first couple of games back but it already looks much better.
  2. BusiTheKing

    Ousmane Dembélé

he plays like how I play football in dreams, it's actually uncanny

CL | Round 3: FC Barcelona - Dinamo Kiev 1-0

I honestly don't think Luuk de Jong would make the line-up at a single other La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A or Premier League club. That's not an exaggeration. Lower table teams might have finishers as bad as him but then they're quick or know how to bully defenders or something. This guy has...

    Raheem Sterling

Does he really? well that's embarrassing...

    Raheem Sterling

If we disregard whether he's actually good for a moment, isn't LW actually the one space that we have sort of covered? Why aren't we looking at RWs instead? Or do we still operate from the idea that they're interchangable?
  6. BusiTheKing

    Sergi Roberto

Seriously, how is it that none of our players are capable of putting in a decent cross? It's like it's fucking impossible for them. Our danger rate is about 1 every 30, maybe lower.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

It's impossible for a player to be great one season and then not so good three years later?
  8. BusiTheKing

    Gerard Piqué

How about backing up your teammate in a 1 v 1 with a player who is OBVIOUSLY going to cut inside and shoot instead of doing your fucking statue second goalkeeper act. First goal is 80% on him.

CL | Round 2: SL Benfica - FC Barcelona 3-0

hard to believe we're bookmakers favorites for this game. from what i've seen of Benfica this season, they're sharp and really well drilled.

CL | Round 2: SL Benfica - FC Barcelona 3-0

can't wait to see what exhilerating combinations Sergi Roberto and Luuk de Jong are going to cook up
  11. BusiTheKing

    Nico Gonzalez

He's probably too slow either way but it's really not true that he doesn't have vision.
  12. BusiTheKing

    Yusuf Demir

Seems a bit timid. He needs to learn how to turn it on.

    6 - Gavi

Very positive against Cadiz. Huge improvement. Wants to assert himself and take responsibility for making things happen, which is sorely needed. If he can continue to develop at this rate, he'll be a real player.
  14. BusiTheKing

    Ronald Koeman

After 5 years of being pummeled by big teams in the CL, our main problem remains the same: we're weaker, slower and have worse stamina than our opponent. I don't think some of you understand how much of a disadvantage we're kicking off the game from. They weren't even that good. They were just...

    8 - Pedri

No player in any tactial system has a role that is limited to 'linking midfield to attack'. You don't have to think to long to realize how dumb that is. If we assume that logic of limited roles, then surely Busquets' role would be to 'link defense/gk to midfield'. Well who then actually is...

    8 - Pedri

First of all, you're making it sound like he's playing false nine or something. He's a CM, which means that, even if his role is more offensive than the others, his main duty is progressing the ball from defense to attack. Even if he was something like a false nine, simply "being there" is not...

    8 - Pedri

"How often it gets to him" is not an exogenous variable. It is as much a result of his ability as anything else. It is of course not only up to him how much he gets the ball, but nothing in a game is only up to you. There are always external pressures, it's up to the player to deal with them.
  18. BusiTheKing

    8 - Pedri

Big test for him against Bayern. Whether he can assert himself as a persistent presence under real pressure is still a big question mark for me.
  19. BusiTheKing

    Ronald Koeman

It's really been nothing but downhill since our first two games with him, hasn't it? You're not a great coach, Ronald, but noone can take away those two games against Villareal and Celta.
  20. BusiTheKing

    6 - Gavi

I see Gavi and Nico as very different players, though. Gavi is better in tight spaces - probably a crack in rondos - but there is more thought behind Nico's actions. He's also a bit dull in his movement, though. Not exactly what you want in a midfielder in 2021. Both of them seem like they...
