    Oriol Romeu

    - Spare some change, sir? - Romeu is levels above than Brozovich! This is what I'm saying, you have to look at the... - Hehe ok sir sure sir

    Neymar Jr.

It would be his last chance to give his career a positive ending arc and to salvage a respectable legacy. I think he deserves a chance like that.

    Neymar Jr Transfer Thread

We could do with an actual playmaker. Pedri, Gavi and the wingers leave a lot to be desired in that department.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

And how do you know that this is a temporary inflation? When do you figure that prices will return to this "true value" and what is the mechanism that will trigger the shift? You're just saying things that sound like conventional wisdom but have no actual evidence or reason behind them.

    Where are they now?

Seung-woo Lee plays for South Korean side Suwon FC where he's scored 15 goals in 47 appearances.

    Where are they now?

David Babunski (who remembers this guy?) is playing for Hungarian club Mezőkövesd. Alen Halilovic signed for Fortuna Sittard this summer.

What is true value? Value is what someone is willing to pay.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Jesus, how did Ronaldinho reach those numbers? Only remember a few. Pele's figure I'm sure should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Abde Ezzalzouli

I think Abde is my favorite option for LW as it stands. In games where there is a lot of space, Ansu might be able to do his thing. But otherwise, Abde is the only one who looks capable of shaking things up. Can get to the backline reliably as well.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

He is still looking rather slow for a winger but for me it's more that he looks incapable of going full sprint. He just doesn't look in tune with his body.

    2023 Preseason

It's not inconceivable for me that come november we will find ourselves looking to a 16-year old sub to save us in the dying moments of a scoreless home tie against Alaves.

    2023 Preseason

Not the most reassuring pre-season. General play is pretty patchy. Hard to see a team identity. No real individual stand-outs. Last year we had a good half season of near-prime Lewa. This year we likely won't have any. That means no top class wingers and no top class goalscorers going into the...

    16 - Fermín López

Looks like he can play LW as well, might factor in to why Xavi likes him.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Haven't followed this. What will we get for him if he does leave for PSG?

    Oriol Romeu

Overall he looked pretty tidy and has a nice disguised pass in his arsenal. He needs to be more courageous in wanting the ball though. Many situations where I was frustrated that he stayed still instead of seizing an open space.

    2023 Preseason

Real had a bunch of good chances. Can't remember them all now, but in addition to the crossbars there was a very open Joselu header and one where Vinicius slipped before he could finish in a very good position. Garcia coming in to block another finish from close on another occasion. Vinicius...

    2023 Preseason

What to take away? Madrid could easily have scored 5 and I don't think we produced one good chance organically from open play. Still won 3-0.
