I mean Qatar is a powerhouse in Asia now, so why aren't AlSadd? I mean same thing happened in Africa, we were dominant in Africa and half of the team were from one club, and they dominated in African CL. ALsadd not doing well there is big red flag. Also, there is bad defense, and there is...

    Xavi Hernández

By everybody you mean those who believed he will be improvement and his failure is just didn't fit their narrative? This sounds a bs, I am not sure who is everybody you are talking about, the guy was below mediocre coach who failed to convince clubs he tried to coach in Brazil and was getter...

    Ronald Koeman

Kudos for him using Dest as RW, he provided a much needed pace and hard work. Can't expect him to be world class winger, and there will be probably frustrating moments, but at least serviceable

    Xavi Hernández

Mourinho was Laporta top candidate in 2008 but he decided to listen to Txiki and Crujif who preferred Pep. Laporta talks Crujif, but he also had serious interest in German coaches (Flick/Nagelsmann) who plays more progressive football. There are now many coaches that you can say they are...

    Xavi Hernández

Assistant coaches are different routes, and it is a route that Zidane too. It makes huge difference and makes comparison invalid, a coach that you have observed in your clubs for 2.5 years working as assistant manager and B team coach is different from someone who coached in Qatar. Lower level...

    Mauro Icardi

On a tabloid/TMZ type of news, he apparently cheated on Wanda and now with an Argentinian actress Eugenia Suarez

    Xavi Hernández

It didn't happen with Zidane though, he was assistant coach for 2 years and then B team coach. He is more like Flick/Ten Haag than Xavi. Only resemblance is being a football legend, and even then Zidane is actually on another level of legacy than the culer (regardless of our opinion on their game)

Anyone has link for B team classico?

    Mohamed Salah

He wants salary raise , didn't get it yet. Contracts ends in 2023 and already seems the owners prefer to let him go than pay him big paycheck in his 30's. Good chance it is his last year at Liverpool

Betis would be perfect for him

    Frenkie de Jong

I think we would have done way worse with Kroos over Rakitic. RM probably would have done worse too if it was the opposite

    Frenkie de Jong

I read once it is "analytics" thing. Statistically shooting out of the box is one of the worst plays for a team, worse than cross for example and teams/coaches/players are taught to avoid it most of the time. If you are into basketball, it is sort of football's midrange.

    8 - Pedri

I think it is just clubs banking on players not challenging the buyout clauses in court. They are illegal but since no one complains they will be ok. I actually think that buyout clauses will sooner or later be obligatory in all football world. Player association has already negotiated it with...

    Erling Haaland

People keep saying that, yet Pep last year or more seem to not look for his profile and publicly denied his interest. Messi in 2020, Kane, CR7 etc all doesn't fit that Halaand description that people think will "complete" them.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

The club told Messi we can't "afford" him, I think that clearly implies his salary and he understands that. There is nothing wrong in Messi asking to be paid, it is his right and he earned it, he repaid the club for his investment in him. Only thing I blame Laporta is admitting he was a bit a...
