    8 - Pedri

Muscles normally don't carry long term gradual damage like that. If it was an overworked knee or something, maybe.

    8 - Pedri

If it's a slight tear you might not notice while the muscle is warm. Sting shows up in the next training, then medical scans, then official announcement.

La Liga Round 2: Barca - Cadiz 2-0

Pedri hasn't done a single thing except that pass that almost reached Kounde. Plus he missed a free header.

La Liga Round 2: Barca - Cadiz 2-0

Pedri and Gavi leave a creative void down the center. The former does too little, the latter does the wrong things.

La Liga Round 2: Barca - Cadiz 2-0

2 games in, 2 clear penalty snubs

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Wasn't overhyped imo. My guess is he'd be our star player right now if it weren't for the injuries. Sad story but we should really sell if we can get decent cash for him.

    10 - Lamine Yamal

Wouldn't start him yet. Starting is a very different thing from coming on late in the game. These 65-min just-do-your-thing subs is a good way to build familiarity and confidence without too much pressure.

    11 - Raphinha

Don't see this being a regular thing. That was some of the most frustrating shit I've ever witnessed, being rugby tackled everytime you make a run and the referee doing absolutely nothing about it. Plus tempers are always volatile in the first game.

    8 - Pedri

There were moments of genius but the worrying thing is that his entire game could be boiled down to those two or three individual moments. Probably should have kept him on though.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Looks like he's lost sense of his limits. Doesn't look finished physically, just looks like he's overestimating his ability. Should try and dial his game back towards the basics, then build up from that again.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

There is still something slightly awkward and unnatural about his movement. Becomes visible when he has to turn his momentum quickly or go full out sprint. Can't decide who to prefer between him and Abde.

    Abde Ezzalzouli

Got a fucking shot on him. That one from out far... beautiful hit.

    Oriol Romeu

Made a few mistakes but never looked out of his depth. Just a moment too slow to release or a bit too curagous at times. Looked pretty comfortable in general.

    8 - Pedri

He has the skill to play in the final third but none of the temperament. He has to be put in a role where he doesn't have to invent runs or seize spaces with high risk, because he just hasn't got the appetite for those situations. And so when the pressure is on, he sort of just fades out of the...

    Oriol Romeu

    Neymar Jr.

It would be his last chance to give his career a positive ending arc and to salvage a respectable legacy. I think he deserves a chance like that.

    Neymar Jr Transfer Thread

We could do with an actual playmaker. Pedri, Gavi and the wingers leave a lot to be desired in that department.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

And how do you know that this is a temporary inflation? When do you figure that prices will return to this "true value" and what is the mechanism that will trigger the shift? You're just saying things that sound like conventional wisdom but have no actual evidence or reason behind them.
