    10 years ago Sevilla could go to Lille, Monaco, or Rennes and take key young talents for relatively modest fees. This advantage no longer exist.

    The EPL is still boring, the players are still average— they just got for insanely inflated prices. La Liga slipped when its clubs outside of its big three lost their spending advantages over their Italian, French, and German counterparts.

    He doesn't understand that French clubs now have more money than Spanish clubs on top of maintaining a more sustainable financial model(no debt without penalty). Unless something changes in La Liga, the next 5 years could see them slip significantly. Right now only Real Madrid is healthy...
