    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Messi passing to Suarez led directly to both of Neymar's goals.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

It was close range and he started to jump in the wrong direction but managed to stick a hand out and kill the power on the shot, and managed to shift his weight in time to allow him to scramble back and push the ball away before it crossed the line. Nothing about that save was "Decent".

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Once again, the second goal was not handed to him. Suarez scoring that would have probably been easier to score than Neymar scoring it. If Ronaldo had scored the first one, then yes, he'd have probably been called a poacher by some, and with good reason (As his last three goals have all been...

    14 - Javier Mascherano

He would not have done any better than Iniesta. What a joke. If he can't perform at CB he should be on the bench, not in our midfield.

    Pedro Rodriguez

If all the players don't show, all the players deserve criticism. Not if all the players don't show up, none of them deserve criticism.

It would put a ton of pressure on Bravo if we were to keep the same setup. Whenever we lose it'd be "Well we have the CL hero keeper just sitting on the bench..." I can only imagine how fun that will be.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Who cares about Cristiano? And who cares if he receives unequal praise? Why are we even bringing Cristina up when discussing Neymar? Has Neymar reached such heights that now we have to compare him and Messi to him?

    Pedro Rodriguez

Alexis was so incredibly frustrating. What's weird is the very real possibility that just the thought of playing with Messi is likely what caused him to suffer. When Messi was injured his quality across the board was on a much higher level than when Messi was there to pass to him.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

The second goal he had to control the ball and shoot it past Boateng and Neuer and would have likely been missed by the majority of forwards in the same position, and the fans would have been upset with the player who passed to him instead of taking the shot, but yeah, totally 100%.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

37 goals for Neymar now. He's been immense. And only 23, too... wow.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Fairly standard performance you'd come to expect from Pedro. Nothing glaring to really complain about.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Can't believe people were saying this guy should go out on loan earlier. Saved us in ways I can't imagine any other keeper saving us. He's really grown into the role this season as well. We were making some terrible defensive plays early on in the season but he seemed almost afraid to say even...

    Rafinha Alcantara

Would love to see him come on in the second half. These kind of minutes are incredibly valuable to a player who is still developing and if we still have a lead at half time it wouldn't be too much of a risk to play him.

    Pedro Rodriguez

If one of our front three gets injured we're fucked no matter who we play as the replacement. In such a case quality DOES matter and Pedro is very, very far from being quality enough to serve as a capable stand in.

    Marc Bartra

Problem with Bartra is he didn't cost any money for us. If he played for Sevilla and put in the kind of shifts he puts in for us he'd have been snapped up a long time ago. This is part of the reason why I never have feelings of hostility towards any young La Masia graduate that jumps ship. Their...

    Pedro Rodriguez

Their quality doesn't matter. Pedro is used primarily to rest players, not help us win.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Munir is probably the best option. He seems to learn and adapt the fastest out of any of our young forwards and he'd take these charity minutes Pedro is getting and use them to improve his game. With luck he could actually develop into a player worthy of starting for us consistently when our...

    Jeremy Mathieu

No he wasn't. That was the period when he scored random golazos in La Liga matches, but he's still been a definite "Play as few minutes as possible" kind of player for some time, and that was when he wasn't injured.
  19. Z

    Marc Bartra

How proven is Vermaelen though? Multiple lengthy spells of injury can drastically lower your quality. By the time the transfer ban is over Mascherano, Vermaelen, and Mathieu will all be so old we'll start needing to look for options to replace them. Giving Bartra a decent run of games and...

    Pedro Rodriguez

Sandro and Munir. No matter how good or bad you think Pedro is he really isn't doing much to contribute to our season as a whole due to MSN being used for every game, all game. Even now he's no longer used to sub one of our front three off, so you could say any midfielder we have would be able...
