    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Meaning it will take the court longer to make a decision, giving us basically the whole window to sign players.

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

I actually think the most likely outcome is that the appeal will be accepted and we will be sanctioned with a proper fine.

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

I'm quite confident that if we appeal, the final decision (and thus a possibly ban) will be postponed until after the window is closed. In Chelski's case, matters were much simpler (question of tapping-up and whether the player had a legitimate contract at the time when it happened etc) and the...

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

Those deals should be fine - an appeal will give us enough time to finalise these and sign more players.

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

No. If we appeal, the ban is automatically delayed until a decision is made. Means we can, should and will spend until then. And I'm quite confident our appeal would be accepted; we're obviously not the only offender and the ridiculously small fee suggests that the whole sanction is nonsensical.

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

We will be able to sign players in the summer. We'll appeal, and the final decision won't be made before the start of the transfer window. If the court decides to reject the appeal, we'll have new players to be good for the season. If it accepts it, we're fine anyway. Good thing is, the board...

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

Don't think so. It took the court 5 months to look into Chelsea's appeal when it happened to them, and that was a less complicated case.

Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

This. If we appeal, we will be able to sign a few players in the summer. It will either get dropped then or we'll be fine (if the necessary transfers are made, but the board will be forced to).

Banned from all signings, it seems. In which case we're in huge trouble.

    İlkay Gündoğan

Like what news? I am following the "news" in Germany, where no media outlet rules out that he'll renew, and am aware of the Bayern as well as the barça-related MD and Sport stories. My question was what makes you think he won't? Where is that info from? Whether he'll renew or not depends on...

    İlkay Gündoğan

What makes you think that? Atm a lot points to him renewing, unless a miracle happens and he recovers before the end of the season.

A lot of people on here also thought we were out of the title race and would get smashed by Madrid.

    Bayern München

Who knows, winning the title this early is surely great for resting players, but if the CL and DFB Cup matches are the only demanding games for them for the rest of the season, it might be harder to keep the motivation high. Congrats to Ryu, Die Bayern and AfricanBavarian though. Well deserved.

The amazing thing is, Gibbs had his back to the ref when it happened (0:05), so his name and number were clearly visible...

What a shocking referee, sending off Gibbs for AOC's handball is freaking embarrassing. No excuse for that. Still, great save by the Ox
