He did have a terrific game but this game also showed his weakness, He should've created a lot more with the positions he got himself into..

But Arsenal started splashing the cash right after that season. Why couldn't Wenger just convince RVP when he was going to spend the cash anyway? I remember reading that RVP's wage demands weren't in line with the socialist wage structure at Arsenal where piss poor players earned similar amount...

I'm certain you could've kept both of them if you matched the wages offered elsewhere. Wenger for some strange reason didn't wan't to pay him 200k but was okay with paying the amount RVP wanted to Ozil.

He's off but we're in decent position to ask for at least £25 million.

I'd keep him if they are offering just £15 million because the lost fee will be offset by low wages that he's on. He's currently earning £3 million a year but he'd be on £10 million if he signed a new contract so the actual loss won't be too much..

So what did I get wrong? Is Muller brilliant technically? We need brilliant dribblers on the wings to make this possession system work because we're just too predictable and Muller is not the solution.
