Good indicator might be his matches in Europe against better sides. 2 times vs. Barca, 2 matches vs. Atletico, vs. Juve... nothing interesting. Solid in Atleti matches. League makes them look better than they are.

Semedo had a terrible game, maybe, but you don't write a player off based on one match. If the club still believes in him, that's fine. I'm not his biggest fan, but don't see better options.
