    World Cup 2022

What are the rules for these U21 teams? How can Cutrone, who's 23, play for Italy?

The man's 72. Needs some rest.

    Champions League

These are fair points. But seems to me it's Barca from the past that would stop. Right or wrong. Didn't stop vs Sevilla, for instance.

    Champions League

Does Barca ever stop? most teams go for it if they can especially in important fixtures

Bad week for Fati. Good week for Rassvet. Btw., does Jota plays well only for his nt?

    Mavericky Puig

I see what you want to but it's not like Puig only passes with bachata moves. Need to control what you do and follow team's flow. Didn't see much of U21 team, but they seem your typical spanish team. Possession based game, trying to create from open play. If Puig can't adapt to such team, he...

Make it sound as if coaches have plenty of great players to choose from to suit particular style they intend to play. Not like that in reality. Puig comes with some flaws, but if not deemed good to play for the U21, doubt it'd have anything to do with him being a niche player. I'm surprised...

    Mavericky Puig

The coach sees him in trainings, they've been together for a week or so now. Should know if he's that better than Villar and Garcia. Both seem to do well for the U21 team, though. Still weird he gets no time. De la Fuente likes him even better than Koeman :koeman:

Good news! Puit won't be alone on the bench tonight. He'll have his Masia buddies Cucurella and Miranda to chat with. I'm not a fan, but it's weird he gets absolutely no minutes here.

Waiting for Neymar rumors to start.

    Matthijs de Ligt

De Ligt is very young, only 21. Could improve seriously and should be clearer whether he's the real deal or not by next summer. I don't think Mingueza will cut it, but then again, didn't think he'd be this solid for us.

    8 - Pedri

Closely with a pointer? Guilty as charged. Reliable? Able to be trusted. Solid? Of a good standard, usually good.

Pedri is not weak, he's actually quite strong on the ball and in duels. Also does plenty of defending well. Helps his case a lot.

    Matthijs de Ligt

    He's still 21, wow

    Erling Haaland

He's still among the highest rated talents in football and a very good player so I'm sure it was a good move to sign him. People expected him to improve tremendously and had higher hopes. He hasn't regressed, but his level hasn't changed all that much either. That's where the grim perspective...
