yes. Samper even with all his talent and potential is too weak defensively to be a DM, he could be tried as CM though

Roberto was always good when defending and his short passes look to be crisp and accurate which is good for a Barca DM. He also has good awareness and can put decent pressure on opponents when defending. Its the attacking part which he can't do and I thought that Lucho had this figured by now...

I agree that he might be a decent LB but for me at least him at CB is a no go in any circumstance. Apart from the last liga game against deportivo, I am yet to see a game from Verm, in pre-season and all, where he has managed to maintain positional awareness and be aware of the attackers around...
