    Raheem Sterling

Ronaldo's game at 18/19 was eye catching but not exactly effective. Just seemed like a young Quaresma. Look at Sterling's technique against Man City.

    Thomas Müller

Not really, it's just that because finesse is highly praised on this forum thanks to years of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi dominance, Muller's scruffy but effective game goes under the radar.

    Toni Kroos

About ten minutes, he pulled off one of the most jizz worthy long balls I've seen in a long time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thomas Müller

He's such a scruffy but effective player. Technique wise he's the anti-Messi; physicality wise, he's the anti-Messi

Nobody else cared, but I did. I did.

    Raheem Sterling

Sterling was better all round than 18/19 year old Ronaldo, judging by last season's performances. It was in 2006, aged 21, that Ronaldo really started to make the most of his raw talent. And God I hate that fucking song.

    Ángel Di María

    And Messi's too

    Raheem Sterling

How so? Had Messi and CR7 done enough prior to the 06/07 season and 04/05 season's respectively to suggest they'd be where they are now? I'm not saying Sterling will reach their level (or anywhere close for that matter) but there's no doubt he's not your average teenager.

    Raheem Sterling

Agreed, Sterling is probably top 3 most talented teenagers in the world right now. The way I look at it is, he's the same as Messi going into the 06/07 season now, or Ronaldo into the 04/05 season, both as 19 year olds. Sterling's ceiling is huge if he used correctly.

    Xavi Hernández

I don't understand. He's the same age as Gerrard, how could he have declined so rapidly? You'd think of anyone Xavi would be intelligent enough to adapt his game.

    Fernando Torres

He's just not relevant anymore. I want to respect him, but looking back at his Liverpool career he wasn't anywhere near as good as Suarez is.

    Raheem Sterling

His star just continues to rise. I can imagine Madrid and Barca sniffing around him this/next summer, particularly as he doesn't turn 21 until next December and he's bossing a WC game.
  13. xavisionary

    Arjen Robben

Love his directness, frightened the life out of Spain last night. Thought his second goal was incredible.
  14. xavisionary

    Thomas Müller

Wondering if he's going to light up the WC again. He was so good four years ago, honestly think Germany missed him so much against Spain. This is always worth going back to: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/apr/05/bayern-munich-thomas-muller

    Ángel Di María

Di Maria should recreate Walter White's 'I am the danger' speech before he kicks ass at the WC. Better than Ronaldo

    Marco Verratti

    Sergio Busquets

Could score from anywhere on the pitch whenever he wants, he just knows that isn't fair :busquets:
  18. xavisionary

    Cesc Fàbregas

Strange actually, but I feel Cesc would really fit in at Real Madrid

    Paul Pogba

Reading back through this thread 'Pogba is basically Yaya and Draxler combined'

    Sergio Busquets

Pushed Busquets forward to play with Messi and Iniesta/Neymar as AMs behind Diego Costa and in front of Macherano and Xavi/Fabregas on an FM save, rewarded with 8 goals and 4 assists in 11 starts :worthy: he definitely needs to get forward more IRL too.
