I am so bored since we are still basically a week off from leagues starting. I thought I would do this to spark a discussion.

The system does not rely on one person. I seen this before, every fan was infuriated how we lost Gundogan but we moved on and flourished. Now I don’t agree with his exit but we have to move on. Plus, although he was our best defender, he wasn’t that great like our defence.

He was very pivotal in us winning our first European major competition, the Cup Winners’ Cup in Basel, 1979. (Technically we did win one by 1979, actually it was 3, the Fairs Cup was won thrice by us which was the predecessor to the UEL, what I meant though was UEFA competition)
