I think they have more chance than anyone else after City and Arsenal. Obviously you could make the argument that Liverpool are more likely than Arsenal given their end of season form, but something about them just doesn't feel right to me.
Somehow Chelsea manage to be genuinely exceptional at developing players, yet utter buffoons when it comes to knowing who to keep and who to let go. The club have no midfield, yet could have had Rice, Mount and Musiala for £0.
I thought Henderson would stay but I supposed £700k a week is hard to turn down.
I could see Jones being converted into a #6. He's just played that role in a double pivot throughout the U21 Euros.
What is with the Spanish sperging out when things don't go their way? This '00 age group did the exact same thing in the U17 World Cup final when they got battered.
It looks nice in this video and it's what most of England's games have looked like, but the Portuguese pressed us like crazy in the second half of our game against them and we kinda reverted to type a little bit. If England aren't brave enough try to dominate the ball against Spain it's going to...
I don't see Rice playing as a #6, he's not especially press-resistant. He'll probably play as a #8 doing the same kind of job that Henderson does at Liverpool, just levels above.
It's what the players say. There is also usually a fastest 10 put out by the league, or stats sites. Last season the fastest defenders in either league were Walker (37.31km/h) in the Premier League and Davies (36.53km/h) in the Bundesliga. The rankings across the board were a bit lower in the...
The Bundesliga is physical in terms of the cadio requirements, but the defenders aren't as big and fast like they are in the Premier League. That difference was one of the things Werner cited as a reason he struggled.
Lmao have you seen the John Stones thread? Guardiola has turned a CB into prime Busquets for half a season and when I went in there no one had replied since 2021.
