Pirlo doesn't run as much as Xavi. He has Vidal and Pogba to do all the defending for him. Xavi might be lazy tracking back but he's usually one the top 3 runners in most games. I don't think Pirlo would've played this many games had he run as much as Xavi.

Why would you accept only 40m for a player like Alexis when you are about to pay 30-35m for a defender?? Alexis is 25, only 25, just finished his best season of his career so far and has been more or less one of the most consistent players of the team this season.
