Meh, there's no point to even discuss anymore what is the best league. The differences are marginal. If one league doesn't separate itself from others and its best teams get flattened by other top teams from other leagues, the discussion is pointless.

What determines the best league on European performance as a whole?

The difference in top teams is there or there abouts and would have Bayern and PSG as top two currently probably.

Below that. The difference is clear.

Draw matters.. as you said. Barca get PSG they are out in last 16.

Barca and Atleti get very favourable draws and then meet.

Its good for La Liga.

Lets hope a Spanish team other than Real can win a CL semi final for first time in a decade.

Lets see how easy they make the draw they have got look.

Barca you said would be out in last 16 if get PSG and Atleti avoid the better teams also.

Draw matters.

Dont think any of Chelsea, Spurs, Newcstle have underachieved in CL if all are out.

City would expect to put up better fight v Real

Liverpool would be a failure if go out tomorrow also.

EPL are lucky also that Arsenal, their strongest side, got the easiest draw of the bench. Or else they could be looking at 1 CL semifinal appearance in 3 years.
