Actually, it does. Or at least mitigates them to an extent. The individual errors are made marginally worse by the system, but i dont expect you to understand that.

A system that doesn't leave the defense exposed with acres of space behind, in which every opponent attack is already half a chance, a system that doesn't play the offside trap in the halfway line like amateurs who dont know the rules of the game. A system that doesn't rely on "intensity" 90 minutes of a game, as if the players are robots. A football game requires adaptability during certain points of a match, not asking to park the bus, that's black and white thinking.

Should i keep going?
You got it perfectly right. Spot on. But listen, don't keep going. They won't understand it anyway. Hardly any football knowledge here when it comes to tactics. Go and enjoy yourself with your family or friends.

We had all of that under Xavi. You felt confident playing and losing in the EL?

Exactly. The player deficiencies will show even if take a more precautionary approach. The style should remain largely the same vs most teams we may face.

I'm not talking about blunders like vs Inter where we played end to end football with 3 minutes to go and leading. That was a mistake, but the teams is better suited to attack than to defend.

Flick wouldnt be losing to those teams Xavi couldnt beat in Europe.

His style has flaws but Xavis style was not good defensively v better teams and not as good going forward.

Don't think Flick will be able to recover the team physically. Realistically, it's very unlikely they will manage to reach the CL final.

Apart from the economical standpoint I tend to consider the earliest possible exit from CL the best shot at winning La Liga.

Even if somehow we miraculously recover physicall fitness and stamina + form both individually/collectively, I can't see this Barca getting past the likes of Q$G, Bayern or even Arsenal atm.

Leaks say Flick tried Eric Cancelo Fermin and Ferran with the starters in training tonight

This means the XI is set:

----------Joan
Eric-Cuba-Martin-Cancelo
--------Pedri--Bernal
-Lamine-Fermin-Rapha
----------Ferran

I would have preferred Olmo as false 9 instead of Ferran,

but it is what it is

The players are not knackered.

This is massively over played and used as excuse if Barca dont play well.
I have to also point out that Newcastle looked absolutely tired after their Chelsea match at the weekend. No excuses really regarding fitness differences of both clubs. Both clubs are tired.

Barca dont look tired though.

They beat Sevill at an absolute canter at weekend and have been rotating a lot.

It will be first excuse folk go to if struggle tomorrow though. Which shouldnt.
