Been thinking about this guy and maybe I am too harsh on him.

He is a weird one. In general i don't rate him as much as others as think he causes as many problems as he solves, with his lack of press resistance and giving the ball away all the time.

On the other hand, you can't deny his ability to pick out moments and crosses and chances. He's a bit of a hollywood ball spammer but he does create. He's also always fit and available (likely peds) and even though he leaves gaps, he tries his best and you cannot doubt his commitment.

Some united fans (most) think they'd be nowhere without him, plenty more are more critical and say they're nowhere with him and he causes as many problems as he solves.

I am not so arrogant that i cannot change my way or my minds. I can see arguments either way. But what I think is an objective truth is that they're failing as a club with or without him

I think the truth is in the middle - he's not the carrying genius his fanboys paint him as, but he's still a positive unlike some of the critics say. The biggest compliment I can give him is, that while his technique and press resistance can be scruffy, as an ABU I am always worried when he gets on the ball as I know he can produce in moments even if he cannot really control a game or play possession football.

I’ve always liked him, great player, very versatile.
About the stat above, meaningless, Messi debuted at 17, the others 2 were in their prime… and Messi still shines as a GOAT.

Of course. Doesn't mean he's better than anyone. I believe Mbappe at PSG has better numbers than all.
