Despite the amount of crashouts he caused for everyone here, he still was a great servant to the club and he will be missed. His attacking instincts are way better than Balde’s and we are yet to replace him in that front. Legend.

I haven't caught the best years he had at the club, but to the people who followed him from the beginning until the very end, what was his best season here at the club? If I were to assume, I would say 2012-13, 2014-15 or 2015-16. After 2016-17, you can say he declined a lot and was a big reason for our European capitulations especially Anfield.

Fail at Anfield is great but captains are the ones that are responsible first. I feel like many hid behind Messi as Messi was beyond reproach due to his genius. And he was not a type to throw anyone under the bus as he carried the team on his shoulders. Amigos talk and all.

Rakitic was honest when he said they didn't win more because they weren't motivated. At that point you have one in a lifetime generation of club's greatest at their zenith. Can you really have an authoritarian coach to take a hard approach? The board at that point was there to pamper them as well with lucrative contracts and minimum pressure.
