Well we dont have many defenders to field for this game maybe some from The B-team, same with midfield a mix B-team players and first team. Only thing that is somewhat intact if not anyone get injured vs Bilbao. I see us shipping 3-4 goals quite easily in this game.

Cancelo - Gerard - Cubarsi - Eric

All first teamers

I promise you Cancelo and Eric won't be a big downgrade from Balde and Kounde. Maybe exact opposite

Gerard on CB for Eric is maybe a downgrade. But Eric hasn't been great there either and Gerard was in this Atleti game so maybe he builds some form

Start Eric in midfield and your options for defense are non-existant bar Araujo.

Think it's Pedri-Olmo midfield.

Cant see Pedri and Olmo think would be more likely even Araujo starts than that but maybe.

One of the two would have to take the more defensive role.

Last night Pedri did but also Atleti left that area open and just sat off.

Eric Cubarsi Martin Cancelo
Bernal Pedri
Yamal Fermin Raph

It's kind of obvious after yesterday. The only change could be Cancelo RB, Eric CB and Martin LB but those are the same players in different positions anyway.

Yeah i also think Bernal will start next to pedri.
I would play eric CB, martin LB and cancelo RB. Martin is fast so play him on the wing.

Hopefully that second leg tempers the first away to Newcastle a bit.

Dont have to go gung ho and expose hand way did v Atleti.

Nou Camp is a weapon. Risk it there not in away tie.

They just beat Man Utd while being a man down. They're a good side. They will be inspired for this match after our injury woes and us thrashing them in group stage.

Arrived exhausted and with injuries to this tie but "we tried"...

Not too confident for this one given the circumstances.

Newcastle are 12th in the table.

They had lost 5 of their previous 6 games before beating Man Utd.

Have injuries themselves to likes of B Guimaraes

There is nothing to say Barca will be exaughsted.
