I'm glad we didn't score the fourth in a way, you could see that our players had absolutely 0 left in the tank. Another 30 mins could have resulted in overloads and injuries. Don't think we had it in us to score the fifth.

That's why, sometimes it's better to give up fucking minion tournaments if you barely care for the first match. We simply lost the series in the first match. Accept the fact. Ego cost us today.

I disagree with that kind of calculated attitude. This is not FM and players are not stat sheets. Matches like this is important for morale building and xp of big games in stressful situation. It's worth double xp. On the contraire, quite often, when teams relax and "save'' are then demoralized before the fight in the rounds that matter. Dunno, maybe germans (of white persuasion) don't suffer that, but spanish teams definitely have this weakness of mentality issues more often. Need to get used to hardship as a chore not something that is saved for special night.

Really sucks that we didn't get the 4th but I think we showed some real fighting spirit and sent a message to Atletico, who we may face again in the CL, that the metropolitano game was just one game and we are still much better team

This is what was important to me. The usual weaknesses and strengths of this team have come to light again

When I think about how poorly atletico played today and still made the final, it just shows how shit mister was Vs Liverpool back in the day, he couldn't figure out away to get 1 away goal or do something for us to go through.

Also fuck dembele with the fourth goal.
