If you bring him in at 3-0 then I think he can get a goal or at least create some chaos for the Atletico defenders deep in their box.

At the end of the day though he's 37 and more or less finished while Ferran is just a backup and a fair weather player.

Need to bring in a striker that is clinical, quick and can also be useful in the box.

we had enough height in box. lewa would make no difference. a good no9 would.

I concure 100%.

Lewa is not comparable to top class 9s anymore, but he is still better than Torres and Araujo lol.

Lewa probably plays and complains no one making chances as can barely get on end of things.

The way has looked for months.

If flick won't go with Rash.
Lewa should start every game he's fit for the remaining games.

Lewa is still the best pure striker on the team... it's a fact. That's why we aren't winning CL. We need an excellent striker and CB

He would definitely do more than Ferran

Anybody with some box instincts and striker movement knowledge has done something. See Bernal, he was a top goalscorer in academy and in games like this it shows. Even Araujo got in some interesting situations although it came clear why he is CB

Ferran is not striker, not winger, not SS... just an absolute dogshit footballer, not much else really. In summer I say go for Osimhen and sign Senesi for defense. Striker is key to this system. In Bayern Lewa was key for Flick system, in 1st season Lewa was key. Now there is no real striker because Lewa is too finished and it reflects on our performance.

It's funny how it looks exactly the same in Ferran/Lewy thread whenever one is playing and the other isn't.

Wishful thinking that the other player would do more but I bet people would be begging for Ferran if Lewy had started.

Except that the irony about the two is Lewa being any kind of serious option at this point and arguably, but for the most part, fulfilling his duties better.
Like Kim Basinger at 72 still performing erotic scenes better than some 28 year old wannabe star.
