There is no chance he decided to just head to RW.
Would have been told to go there and try to double up with Yamal and leave other side freer for Rashford 1v1.

last play of match he's just standing next to Yamal while he's trying to beat three defenders, could've made some movement or a run attempted a one two with Yamal but nothing

Might just be a one season wonder. Got the right mentality and hustle but can't really beat his man and has no right foot which is very suboptimal on the LW.

Barely plays left wing.
He is more a free role and second striker from left than a LW who gets ball and tries to take players on.
