Barcelona hammer Real Madrid and Beatriz Alvarez statements sound dumber and dumber for every game they play.

"El Barça empieza a ser mortal para el resto de equipos"

Six players on the pitch that started the season as B-squad players. Serrajordi and Aïcha just singed their first professional contracts.

Carla Julia (19) - Aïcha Camara (19) - Adriana Casanovas (20) - Marian Llorena (19) - Martine Fenger (19) Clara Serrajordi (18)

Since before there are also Vicky Lopez (19) and Sidney Shertenleib (19) - Esme Brugts (22) - Salma Paralluelo (22) - Francisca Nazaret (23) and Claudia Pina (24)

With only these players FC barcelona has a team strong enough to dominate in Spain amd good enough to go deep in the european cup. Adding up the rest and the team should challenge for the european cup for the next several years.

Love all these young homegrown players getting a chance this season. At least something still works good in this club.

Sadly, a lot of injuries as well. Laia Aleixandri out for 10-12 months with a torn ACL and Cata Coll will also miss the next month.

Love how we continue to add these talents.

We definitely need a CB, especially after Laia's injury. Not sure if Julia will be ready for the first team immediately but could see her taking over the Marta Torrejon role as a bench player if she retires. Hopefully we will also bring someone more experienced to rotate with Paredes and Mapi though.

Apparently she's a big fan of both Pedri (not surprising coming from the Canaries) and Aitana. Could potentially also be her longterm replacement.

See her as a potential Caroline successor.
