This is just piss poor from Simeone. He should have won at least 1 Copa considering the new Copa format where the likes of Sociedad, Bilbao and Betis have all won it

His peak was insane and that Atletico deserved a cl win, especially in 2014 but the last years Atletico was mostly crap, not saying its Simeone's fault but a new coach could bring new fire in this team.

Speculations last week he signed a pre-contract with Inter for next year. Could be BS but I think Inter will def be his next club, only question is when.

what does he have to gain at Inter? Winning league titles perhaps but he has done that at Atleti already. Don't think chances of winning CL at Inter would be higher. Also lower salary and probably less freedom.

I think he'll decide emotionally and Inter is definitely close to his heart. Lazio probably even more so but they are just not as competitive nowadays as they were during his playing years.
He would be expected to win domestic titles there unlike in La Liga. And I don't see why with a good draw and a bit of luck they couldn't go far in the CL again as they did last season. And once you are in the final anything can happen. I'm sure he wouldn't lose 5-0 against PSG.
