Yamal was Spains best player even if Rodri won the award and came up with big moments at big times.

They will have more injuries due to playing from the age of 16.
They will have a burnout earlier.
And they won't develop mentally.
When Messi was 18, he was slowely being introduced into a team as a sub by Rijkaard instead of Guily.
Cr7 at the same age was getting last 20-25 minutes per match and Alex Ferguson was constantly yelling at him and commenting: "you can't give too much playing time to these kids in order to develop them mentally."

On the other hand, today we have Lws who are superstars and starters from the age of 16.
He will be mentally finished sooner than Neymar and Adriano.

Why is it so hard for people to admit Yamal simply has to improve and to stop losing the ball in bad positions because he tries some fancy trick? It should be such a straightforward thing to admit and we could all avoid pages and pages of just going in circles.

There is no but here. Doing that is simply stupid and risky, and the high line will constantly pay the price for it unnecessarily.

The only problems with Yamal this season is too many turnovers in bad positions and a reduced goal threat vs bigger sides. That's it. He's still excellent apart from those two serious problems.

It's not on him to constantly mark the difference whenever he has the ball. There's a team for that to rely on. He should understand this, and then all will be fine. Instead of trying to do everything himself, maybe he should focus more on hitting the target when he has a free shot unmarked from 16m. Some of his shots from scoring positions have been abysmal. Meters wide.

You are manufacturing arguments to go against.

No one is claiming Yamal or any other player is perfect.

He is by far the player that creates the most for himself and others in the team.

Barcas best player this season so far.

Posts social media slop 24/7 asking attention and then when people sometimes react to him negatively he's a victim of attention.

Absolutely agreed about potential physical burnout with these kids playing too early and obvious mental dangers of being hailed a superstar over night.

Particularly with these kids who obviously lacked good parenting and guidance.

Lamine is not to blame for those things but that doesn't mean negative stuff should be overlooked.

To me he comes across as very level headed and mature for being in spotlight like has been since 16 and still only 18.

Which cant be easy as see time and again.

Anything can happen from here but I dont think even his biggest supporters are bothered about arguing where he may be in mid 30s.

If he burns out before that then so be it. Hope he burns brightly prior to it and continues to make his mark.

Some god awful arguments made against him about football being easier these days and acting like it is normal now to see 16 year olds playing at top level. Those will always be argued against.
