Basically, most, if not all, matches Barca faltered this season we're the ones where Raphinha did not play.

As said before he has also missed the majority of the tougher games and more than just him missing in those games.

Does it make Raphinha any less essential when Barca struggled last season with Yamal out?

His free role is good if he impacts game.

If he doesnt then team shape looks off and leaving Gerard/Balde as width doesnt cut it.

The way he struts about and is given a largely free role he needs to do a lot more to justify the lack of shape give up for him.

Another thing I thing I don't get with Flick. If he is only fit for half a match, why don't you have him in the 2nd half in case we need to clench the win. Moronic. Let's just sub him for Barghdji just when the game goes in its most important phase. :facepalm:

Nah coaches will start with their strongest team if can.

If fit to play 60 mins it makes no sense to not start him.

That is an awful shout and makes no sense.
