But the attempt to scapegoat him got destroyed pretty quickly today.

He was by no means good today, but who was?.

2 clear cut chances concede after he was subbed, 1 leading to a goal.

Red card in the 2nd half and atletico kept creating chances even though they were sitting back in the 2nd half and gave us the ball

Any slight improvement that came in the 2nd half was a by product of atletico sitting back and giving us the ball.

Bigger issues today, than any one player

No one is even attempting to scape goat him.. he is not good enough and no one is surprised. He is not good enough the majority of time steps on pitch.

Barca were better without him on pitch but not by much.

Who is scapegoating him?

Him not being good enough is not scapegoating him. It's just the truth. He shouldn't start for us and I doubt someone like Tommy could do worse in a rotational role where he gets some few minutes here and there. If another younger kid from the academy can give you mid performances to match his then he don't really have a place here.

He's an asset that should be sold even if he doesn't fetch you much because he's very replaceable.
