9 - Robert Lewandowski

I noticed that he gives a better performance as a substitute. Especially, when things are not going as expected. Sort of a special task force. I'd rather see him as 95% RL9 for 20 minutes than 45% of his younger version.
I trust Flick...Flick has a soft spot for Robert and knows best how to work him.

It remains to be seen, if he's remembered more as a Barca or a Bayern man.
I still think his overall achievements will be remembered more from his Bayern years...unless this year CL will end up with something spectacular ... at least the final. 🙃
It feels as though he's more happy here...despite mixed views amongst Barcelona fans.
In Bayern, nobody had any doubts he was the most valuable asset.

Nah, he's way more a Bayern legend.

His production at Bayern from 2020-2022 was ridiculous. I think his goal numbers then were on par with peak CR7's numbers (for shorter obviously), and just behind peak Messi's.

I'll give you a detailed answer on this:

Bayern and it's not even close. But he's more of a Football legend overall than just a Bayern or Barca legend specifically. People talk about Dortmund, Bayern and Barca Lewy all the time, not just one spell.

He might love Barca more and prefer living in Castelldefels but the things he did at Bayern, he simply couldn't do it anymore at Barca due to age (apart from the first 6 months before the World Cup).

People get softer and more emotional as they get older. RL9 was always a cold, distant professional with no warmth or feelings towards any club. He only cared about himself. The older current RL9 really likes Barca and his life here. But he's just not much of a "club man" in general. He's very similar to CR7 in this regard.

Don't get it twisted. He's still very self centred and narcissistic. That's just his nature. Always been so. It's one of his negative and positive traits in life.

His prime at Bayern was just different gravy. If the forum watched him week in week out in his prime, they all would be huge fans of his. They did get a glimpse of the brilliance in the first 6 months though. But largely the forum has no idea of how technically superior and complete he was as a forward. They only know about his goalscoring prowess. Managers like Pep and Klopp were in love with his pure technical ability.

Yes, the cunt is the poor man's Ronaldo in every single department in life, except looks.

Also, calling people 'RL9' and 'CR7' in general conversation is cringeworthy as fuck. Their names are Lewandowski and Ronaldo you pathetic, celebrity brand-endorsing bellend. They're men, not trademarks (n):banghead:
