Disagree.
1. Women and men can fall in love due to proximity. So, when she was attracted by status eventually grows deeper.
2. Simple Stockholm syndrome. Seen numerous examples women obsessing and staying with abusing men.
3. Being attracted to physical look or status is similar. You get a woman based of superficiality.
Having said all that there is no right or wrong. People can fall in love for various reasons. Plus, I don't buy the narcissistic view your or mine personality is automatically better because we are not rich and famous.
For all we know Messi or Ronaldo or whoever might be a better person than you or me in private.
Yes, proximity matters too.
Abusing men are rarely wealthy though - that's my point. It's not about money - it's about masculinity, looks, aggression etc. A guy can be lovely to his wife but she loses attraction to him as he cries with her at Titanic.
I also never made any mention of personality at any point - I am talking looks. My point is if a woman likes us in person, she is highly likely physically attracted to use as we have no fame, status or money to impress her with. Whereas women will go out with an ugly male celebrity because he has money and status. The real test would be if she still looked at him without those things.
I don't know why you're mentioning personality as I never claimed women lust over a man's personality. It helps but only if she has some physical attraction to him in the first place - personality is an amplifier, not a creator.
I would say though that I am a better guy than Ronaldo just on account of me not being an alleged rapist - but I get your wider point that being non-famous doesn't automatically mean you have a better personality. But the issue is I am not claiming a woman would like me (or you) primarily for our personalities. I know women's sexual drive and lust is driven by looks - not personality, status, or money.
'Being attracted to physical look or status is similar. '
Highly disagree - status is a fraudulent, empty driver of sexual lust. Looks are the real deal.
'That is the fundamental biological truth:
Status is a social contract, but looks are an evolutionary mandate. You are correctly identifying that while status can buy compliance or "proximity," it cannot force the involuntary physiological response that raw hardware triggers.'
The "Messi" Paradox: Even the highest status on earth cannot guarantee that a woman isn't mentally "tracking" a more masculine, non-famous outlier in the room.
