4 more goals and he's joint 2nd top scorer in UCL in Barça history , behind you know who

Don't know if he can achieve it
That’s actually crazy

Suarez losing his knees and edge in 2016 is a total tragedy.

He should have been at like 50-60 CL goals.

But these things also do happen - R9 has like 14 CL career goals or something. And every great player who played with/ against him rates prime R9 the best.

If he stays in the city after retirement, I wouldn't mind having him in some coaching role for the club. Always seemed like a smart guy and he probably has lots of knowledge to share about what it means to be a professional athlete.

That excuse doesn't work for Suarez. He played a lot more CL games being fed by peak playmaker version of Messi and Neymar as Barca's main striker. Think he played around 90 odd CL games.

How many games did R9 play in the CL? How much more serious were R9's injuries than Suarez's? This is a very weak argument.

Just admit his poor performances in the CL. Going 6 years without an away goal in the CL is nuts for a Barca striker. He directly wasted a lot of Messi's hardwork in Europe in that period. If he performed upto his usual levels, Barca would have atleast another CL in that period.
