Honestly, put Araujo up-front and he scores 10 goals by February too. Maybe even some assist (which Lewa can't) and probably press more.

Having said all that, now that Lewa's time here is running out and we're doing well I am less critical of him and people will remember his goals eventually.

I mean he scored against Girona, i would not be opposed to send Araujo last 10 minutes every game if we need goal.

I would try this idea acually. Better than having him in defense and has a mean header.

Since you mentioned CR here i need to correct your post: Fairly, we have to say top2 Messi's scored a lot of goals but not in the matches where we needed ( semi finals). I would rather take 10/11 Messi even though his ratio is way lower as his goals in semi final and final were crucial for CL win! Thats why im not a fan of this graphic and another example: there is 12/13 Ronaldo when he won 0 titles but not the CR of the treble cl wins, i think this says all.

So if its a lot of goals + CL title = 👍

Yo he has become the fox in the box. Unfortunately, he is often crap outside the box as he lost a lot of his pace and strenghr but here and there he can still produce some magic, like the pass vs Raphi. Give him enough rest and keep him fresh for the big games 💯

Then why are CRs 1000 goals so important when a fourth is against farmers in Europe for Portugal, another fourth is against farmers in Saudi, and another fourth are penalties?

Suitable to only value goals in special cases.

Tbf, its impossible to score 1000 goals only in top3 leagues. So if a small amount of them are in 'weaker' leagues we can still accept them....

You told me pens are legit since WC22 and its different when you go in your prime to Saudi or when you are 40 (!!), an age where most football players are retired and have a lot of belly fat.
