People should learn from Eric and not judge a player too soon. Especially if its a squad player.

Last year it was Casado, this year it is Eric. Next year it will be someone else, or even them two. Just have patience.

Eric already showed us his level with Girona, and Casado last year with us. Just have patience and these players will always come through when we need them the most. Dont be hasty, will the selll button.

There is no reason to link Eric to Casado and not how club will think either.

For Casado it's really hard to make it at top level in football today with his physical characteristics. Slow, weak, short. He needs world class abilities on the ball to be able to compensate and even then it's hard. Yet I don't think he has them

It's struggle that shapes excellence. This guy struggled a lot at the beginning but it made him a top top footballer

His trajectory is reminiscent to Puyis. He was also quite awkward and unreliable in his youth days, but became a stud through sheer power to will. Hopefully Eric is of the same fabric.

Why not? You seem to justify criticism of other underperforming Barca players solely on your cocsucking attitude towards Frenkie and players you perceive as his competitors. Eric Garsia was an absolute shambles few years ago, worse than Pique and the same level as current Cubarsi. Slow, weak and making blunder after blunder. One of the most hated players here.

Draconfire is right in saying that we should not judge extremely young players so early. Garcia is fucking 24, which is the age that Andres Iniesta first started to show his real abilities. Same with Xavi, who was far from dominator that he became in Pep era. Same with Puyol. Lots of other examples. Fact that we are now scolding 17-19 year olds like Yamal, Cubarsi and whonot for bad performances and writing them off for future is just evidence how vain and silly the modern people have became. Obviously, sportball fans are not the brightest bunch, but even within their ranks people were wiser and less kneejerky yesteryear.

Casado is irrelevant to Eric.

No more relevant to Eric than many before clearly not good enough for Barca in long run.

Why not? He did perform admirably last season. Was one of our best midfielder first half of the season.
He was still short, weak and slow.

Not asking them to be a starter. But we need these type of players as a backup. We cant have Pedri or FDJ as backups, but players like these.

Casados issue is that he will be behind Gavi and Bernal also and then Barca also need minutes available for La Masia players on the up.

Would bet he would be behind Eric also at times if Barca improve CB situation.

He was in good form for a bit at start of season.. not as good as made out by some but did a good job straight from B team.

As season went on it looked like more and more teams played to his weaknesses.. were dropping ball on top of him and leaving him open at expense of Pedri.. Oviedo did same yesterday.
