Feels like a signal change for type of players they want to take a punt on both for first team and to sell on as other clubs want similar profiles if dont make it.

Chelsea have been the masters of that albeit often on more expensive younsgters.. take those in that other clubs will want profile of if dont quite make it.

Left footed CBs that are quick and have decent power height is just that.

It's this. It has always been part of our policy as Khaled mentioned and the Mika Faye's, Araujos, Santi Buenos, Argie LB lad of before. But now the policy seems more strategic.

Just a year back it seemed we were all in on African talents, which seems to have cooled somewhat this year.
