The question that bothered me more - was there even a pass by Kounde? Seemed as though the ball was wrestled away by defender and loose for Yamal to pick up.

One of his better games. Need more of those penetrating passes from him, he's more than capable.

That said. He was not motm, lmao. That's Fermin who came up clutch with his goals and relentless intensity.

Was easily better than Fermin.

Fermin like most of them struggled to do much but that strike was class and wrong footed keeper.

The only ones that looked like could handle that pitch and physicality were Garcia, Frenkie, Rashford and Olmo.
