I don't think it was ever announced, but he seem to be some type of assistant.

In Barca gear at the sidelines sometimes or from the stands with the players, and was also at the Supercopa final down on the pitch.

Thiago is still enlisted as assistant at Barca, but last real evidence on this is from September 2025. My assumption would be he's on coaching courses to obtain license.

I like that he explains different concepts in depth, better than Jordi Cruyff and Xavi who appeared on the same series. Also Thiago and Lewa are the only players, if I'm correct, to have experienced Pep, Ancelotti and Klopp in their careers.

Time flies. Feels weird that he's retired and possibly working on his coaching license, I remember watching the stream when he and Isco dominated the U21 Euro finals as if it was yesterday.

Dont remember much from tbh, unfortunately injuries killed his career, guy was so talented and had the ball control of a brazilian street footballer

What a memory, I remember that too. I think there were some other interesting names in that team (Bartra, Muniesa, maybe Deulofeu?). Time flies.
