Yeah but if he keeps missing like that chance against Chelsea he'll end up being our Higuain. Good against fodder, bad in big games.

When we paid 55 million for this guy I thought Laporta and Deco had lost the plot. And to be perfectly honest, under Xavi he was at best bang average, but Hansi Flickinator has turned this guy into a very useful player out of nothing.

This is correct. The most important things about Ferran are two - his physical condition and work rate are excellent, and he has a great understanding of the game of football.

He knows how to move into space, where to be in the attack, where to be on a counter, how to hold defensive position and to press etc.

This is why he is scoring many goals, he gets in the right positions and he works very hard so he is there when the ball falls in a good area.

The thing is, he could miss a few, he could score a few, but at least the chances fall to him because he is fast and works hard so he can get in positions to score.

Lewandowski doesn't have that mobility so he doesn't get many chances against these aggressive top teams who press you hard, he is zoned away from the box.

Footballers don't change overnight. He's been a feeble type. He'll show it next time.

Everyone with half brain knows and sees we play better and would benefit from a mobile (and hard working) forward like Ferran.

1) 3 goals is more than "few" and he was close to scoring a couple more. 2) It is indeed a big deal, especially on away ground. 3) That unfortunately is not true, home league against them last season he played full 90 and did not score. 4) There is no proof. 5) No, the hype is a result of him improving generally this season. 6) Footballers do change, it's a crucial part of every player's career and Ferran didn't do it overnight. 7) He has shown incredible mental resillience in past 2 seasons 8) No he won't
