Pretty much. It's only the busy schedule that would probably take its toll. And leagues like PL or Ligue 1 would probably injure him as there's more phisicality.

Messi would suffer a lot if he is a starter in Europe
playing 60 games a season. He can be the best in a lower level league like MLS and whenever he is needed to step up for a short time.

And it is ok. Father time is undefeated.
