Probably Tek, Pena and now Garcia played trough sheer will and talent as "Ter Stegen's man" does nothing anyway.

This is the type of reserve GKs we should have. I long advocated for Pepe Reina ever since he was backup at Bayern.

A lot easier for an experienced 30+ player to be thrown on in case of emergency compared to a 22 year old. As well as happily contributing to the squad off the pitch.

Unless he plays and cant move his feet as was the case for a lot of 2nd half of last season and this season as well bar the Real away game when did well.
